This hymn arrangement is an exact transcription from the album Nothing but the Blood: Solo Hymns for Hammered Dulcimer. J. S. Bach is a predominant influence for this arrangement, and after hearing the hymn for the first time it was obvious I needed to arrange and record it! This arrangement can be played by an intermediate or advanced performer and is arranged for a 4.5 octave or higher hammered dulcimer. It is in the key of A minor and contains several extended techniques such as plucking and harmonics in addition to multiple tempo changes.
