Description

The Nautilus Trilogy contains 3 original compositions: “Boardwalk Breeze”, “Waterfall Samba”, and “Starlight Shores”, and are in the keys of G Major, D Major, and A Major (respectively) with no lever or pedal changes and can be enjoyed by an intermediate/advanced harpist. “Boardwalk Breeze” and “Waterfall Samba” both contain Latin syncopation throughout, while “Starlight Shores” tends to have a slightly more “minimalist” character to it. Each composition can be played alone as an individual piece, or all three can be played in order similar to a piano sonata. The Nautilus Trilogy was inspired by the many vacations I have enjoyed at various beaches throughout my childhood and is simply a reflection of the journeying of a curious Nautilus.
