Description

Waterfall Samba was composed after reading about Rio de Janeiro and its surrounding tropical environment which inspired me to simply write a piece about a South American waterfall! This piece is in the key of D major with no lever or pedal changes and contains one glissando at the end of the samba. Waterfall Samba is the second movement of the Nautilus Trilogy and can be played with the Trilogy or as a stand-alone work by intermediate or advanced harpists. Renowned harpist Frank Voltz has deemed Waterfall Samba as “Genius!”
